The speakers were the Software engineers who addressed the students about the how are the companies working in the current time, What are the requirements in the IT industries, What is the working strategies in the IT industries, What is CLOUD Computing, What is HADOOB Architecture. The Students were very enthusiastic about the seminar and were eager to ask them some questions. We, left from Pune post seminar and head towards the Hotel in Mahabaleshwar. At 6:30 pm, we reached our decided Hotel named United 21, Mahabaleshwar. The students were accommodated as a group of 4 per room. Then followed by Dinner and Camp Fire at Night.Day 2 (i.e. 26th February 2014), halt at Mahabaleshwar. Went for site seeing at Kate’s Point, Needle Point, Elephant Point, Echo Point, Table Land, Sunset Point, Strawberry Farm. Students were excited and were eager to see many other points in Mahabaleshwar. Students also did purchasing of strawberries. Day 3 (i.e. 27th February 2014), went for site seeing at Mahabaleshwar, went for purchasing to Mahabaleshwar Market Place and also visited MALA’s factory outlet to purchase some of the famous products like chocolates then left for Lunch towards the Hotel. Post Lunch we left for Mumbai.
Bunts Sangha Mumbai’s Anna Leela College of Commerce and Economics & Shobha Jayaram Shetty College of BMS, Department of Information Technology organized a 3-Day, 2-Night Industrial Visit to Pune-Mahabaleshwar-Mumbai. The dates for the Industrial Visit were as follows 25th February 2014, 26th February 2014 and 27th February 2014. There were 42 students who had registered themselves for this Event. Professor Chirag Warty was the Visit In-charge being the Professor from the Department of Information Technology. Day 1 (i.e. 25th February 2014), we left from college by 8:00 am heading towards Pune. Where we visited IT Company from Pune named Concept Pvt. Ltd., where the spoke about what are the fields where they work in. The speakers from the Concept Pvt. Ltd who addressed the students were Mr. Sagar and Mr. Milind.
I.T. Industrial Visit - Pune (March 2014)
All students were gathered at college premises to start the journey. First we visited an I2IT Institute & Research Center as an Industrial Visit. At I2IT, there was a presentation regarding to what are future goals of Information Technology industry, new languages, new technologies that will to be used in the future. They also gave us information about networking related topics and also some details about robotics mechanism. We learnt techniques that we could prefer and the value of Information Technology in future. We have also saw the IT sector of Pune where different IT Companies were located. In evening there was Discotheque for student’s refreshment and enjoyment. Then on next day we visited Tiger Hill in Lonavla. After enjoying the scenery we went to Bhushi Dam. We then came back to hotel for food. After taking the food we then started our journey back to home.
