Course composition of the three year integrated B.Sc. (Information Technology) degree courses (3 Years Degree Course) (Total 6 Semesters, 2 Semesters per year). This is three year’s degree course of the University of Mumbai giving scope in specialization in the field of Information Technology And admissions to the course will be conducted as per the guidelines and schedule announced by the University of Mumbal.
In this academic year B Sc IT in Anna Leela College successfully achieved the aims and goals of making the Techno Oriented Environment in the college premises by giving the exposure to the students in to their academic aswell as in extracurricular activities. The department achieved many proud moments in the current academic year, here we are listing a few. The Industrial Visit of B.Sc IT Department was conducted on 2nd & 3rd of February-2012 to Pune & Mahabaleshwar. First day was totally dedicated to industrial visits. Students Visited IBN Technologies, Kondawa Road, Pune & SumaSoft Solutions, where they received a lot of exposure on the practical implementation of their syllabus subjects. OnSecond day studentswere delighted with the natural beauty and ancient scenic sights at Mahabaleshwar
The department took initiative to organize WIPROI NFOTECH (WISTA andWASE) campus recruitment drive for the B.Sc. IT Students. It had an overwhelming response, where around 1300 students from almost 40 colleges had come to participate, which made it a huge success. 27 of our own IT students were a part of the drive, out of which 15 were placed in the company which bought laurels to the IT department.
The Department has conducted an IT Festival (I’MIT) on a huge scale at a higher pedestal for which the students was highly motivated and had done great work for it .This event became possible by the IT departmental faculties and the students. Our students had created a website (www.imit.co.in) for this event.
