The results of the Third year (Sem. V) B.M.M and B.Sc (I.T.) conducted by the University of Mumbai has been declared and our students have performed well.

WIPRO INFOTECH (WISTA and WASE) conducted a campus recruitment drive at the college on January11, 2012. We are proud that 15 students from our colleges has been selected. Around1300 students from 30 Colleges participated in the Campus recruitment.

Students were eager for the Industrial Visit. We visited ASB Industries part of the Somani Group Industires, which is into the Rubber Rolling, Aaj Samaj a regional Newspaper, Raga Ltd. which is a Manufacturing Unit. The Industrial Visit of B.Sc IT Department was scheduled on 2nd & 3rd of February. Students along with Prof. Tushar Sambare and Mr. Sushant Shetty went for the Industrial visit to company IBN Technologies. The students received in-depth knowledge on Development, Design, Analysis and Support Departments of the company, along with detailed descriptions about company’s working criterion, selection process, ongoing projects, analyzing. They also had an opportunity to understand about the Current Project of company that is,

Various seminars and workshops are to be held in the College, beginning with an I.T. workshop on 19th June, 2012. The B.Sc department showed its capabilities by arranging a University level workshop consecutively for the second time. This year it was for “T.Y.B.Sc. IT - Syllabus orientation”, conducted on 19th June 2012. The workshop covered the subject “Advanced Java” as per the new syllabus of University of Mumbai. This workshop brought about huge recognition to the IT department since more than 100 participants from all over Maharashtra had gathered to be a part of this event

Students attended a seminar on Android Technology, conducted by Seed InfoTech Ltd. for B.Sc (I.T.) students on 29th December, 2012. The pre-placement drive for HTC Software Solutions, Mumbai was conducted by Seed InfoTech Ltd. For BSC.IT students on 5th January, 2013.

The college organized an exclusive IT fest by the B.Sc (I.T.) Department called IMIT on the 15th and 16th of January 2013.
