"Visit to Bombay Stock Exchange Training Session", held for T.Y.BAF students.
Officer cum trainer Ms.Sheetal Mehta and their team. The team of 30 students’ from TYBAF, got the opportunity to have a 2 hour Training-session on the topic, “Share and Share market with the context of BOMBAY STOCK EXCHANGE “was being delivered by Professor Ved of BSE, very nicely and the students enjoyed the interactive style of the workshop. The topics such as, “Career Prospects in BSE”, also got carried-out very nicely by Ms.Sheetal Mehta during the session of the workshop. It was hosted by Professors Hardeep Kaur and Yadav to give training to our final year students so, as to make our students’ academic knowledge, more creative and pragmatic in the field of finance, showing students, how they can prepare themselves for future employment opportunities.

Inauguration of “FINANCIO-CLUB”,
GOAL: The academic curriculum of BAF (i.e., Accounting & Finance) overall financial management, capital market, corporate Governance & all other related aspects of economy. The launching of financio-club, basically aims to provide the basic as well as in depth knowledge to pioneer batch i.e., ranging from 1st year to last year students of BAF.
It aims is to provide not only basic knowledge of Finance Sector to students, but also give value addition & to facilitate apart from the students to interact & share various practical insight into the field.
The basic idea and purpose behind setting-up of a platform which will appease the queries and requirements of students by interacting with experts like corporate trainers, related with finance sector, facilitating placement ‘’CAREER MELA’’ provide practical training into sectors like service industries (BANKING & INSURANCE),manufacturing units by organizing Industries Visits, conduction of workshops, Business Quiz and so, on.
As a part of Financial Club’s integral and integrated activity, BAF Department had conducted a training workshop on the topic of “Finance and Capital Market’’—with context to Mutual Funds, welcomed by the Corporate Export, Mrs. Fernandes, (20 years) in the Corporate Training in Insurance and Banking and key associates of AVIVA Group Insurance Co. Pvt. Ltd. On 13thSeptember, 2013 which was greatly and passionately attended by around 150 students of BAF department.
