It’s our privilege to announce that our BAF departmental Head, Professor Hardeep Kaur with the support of our visiting Professor Shri Naikar, organized the Inter-collegiate workshop for the TYBAF Students, appearing for their VI Semester. The success of this workshop can easily be traced-out by the fact that about 92 students from all-over Mumbai had participated in this workshop and the execution of the event went very nicely as the students enjoyed the interactive style of the workshop.
By organizing the fruitful talk by various expert faculties such as Prof. Arun Wandrekar (Financial Accounting VII) (9a.m.-10a.m.), Prof.Abhijeet Deshpande (Advanced Auditing III) (10a.m.-11a.m.), Prof. Pradeep Gupte (Principles of Management) (11a.m.-12p.m.), Prof. Chandrasekhar Sawant (Cost Accounting) (1p.m.-2p.m.), Prof.Ashok Gujar (Financial Accounting VIII) (2.30p.m.-3.30p.m.) and Prof. Anil Tilak.(Direct Taxation IV) (3.30p.m.-4.30p.m.), they enriched the all inter-collegiate students of TY (BAF) by giving them over-all review of all 6 subjects as per the university’s syllabus and paper pattern.
It was a wonderful initiative by the our BAF department to organize and give the training to the final year students of BAF at university level so, as to make the students’ academic knowledge, more creative and pragmatic while appearing for their up-coming board-exams of Mumbai University.

Aptitude Test conducted by NIIT (held on 26th-28th Jan, 2014)
The very basic idea of conducting and initiating the Aptitude Test by the Placement Committee of our college and by BAF department was to make our students’ aware and to give them a preliminary hands-on training by conducting test to test their basic knowledge and skills in the areas such as English, basic communication skills, reasoning, logical thinking and mathematics.
It is worth to be noted that we received remarkable response from our students regarding this test as around more than 160 students of all the streams, gave this written test of NIIT and enriched their skill with regard to train themselves for the job interviews in the near future.
PLACIST (Placement Assistance Counseling Workshop)

Placement Assistance Counseling Workshop. The Title Sponsor,”Autus”, a well-known Learning Consultancy which provides learning solutions in the area of business & finance and has been associated to various leading private and foreign banks of India and of abroad, took a wonderful session on the topics such as, “Career Assistance in Banking & Finance” for all the streams of commerce students.
The Founder of Autus, Mr.Sandeep Nerlekar, (Ex-Banker of HDFC,now, an Entrepreneur),Expert Counselor, Ms.Dipti, Mr.Anuj Jain (an “Expert in career counseling”) took the sessions and addressed the current issues of students, related to students’ career related issues such as, “Options, available in Finance Sector, Lack of Awareness about the Current Market-Position” & making them aware of the soft-skill enhancement techniques.
Near about,15 colleges had participated in the event and more than 350 students actively participated.
