Bunts Sangha Institute at Kurla has organized its BMM Department media festival in the name of “MEDIASHASTRA” from 20th January to 25th January 2014.“MEDIASHASTRA” a coinage emerged from fusion of two words “MEDIA” and “SHASTRA”. The theme of the festival is media against Rape & Discrimination. Theme and Name of the festival are connected to each other showing the power of Media and how it can be used as a weapon against the injustice in today’s world. Hence, Bunts Sangha Institute is giving a right platform to the college students of all departments of Mumbai University so as to unleash their human potentials. On 20th January 2014 “Samaaj Ka Naqaab!!” – Samaaj ka Naqaab was Street Nautanki competition; various college participated in this event. This event was held outside Kurla station with the association of Mumbai Police. On 23rd January 2014 “It’s just the Beginning!!!” – It’s just the Beginning was Flash Mob Competition On 24th - 25th January 2014 – The Festival was held in the college campus covering almost 17 different kinds of events which included War of DJ 's, Dance Battle, Talent Hunt, & Etc.
