Report on Students Industrial Visit to Goa - 23th - 26th September, 2013
Industrial visits are part of the BMS, BMM, BCom & BAF course curriculum. The regular industrial visits provide opportunity for the students to get on the ground feel about industry and understand the systems and procedures involved in running an organization. In order to have better understanding of management, a number of industry visits provide the special exposure to the students about various intricacies of the corporate world.
Like every year this year too Bunts Sangha Institute of Higher Education, Kurla (E) organized the industrial visit for the students to Goa, from 23th to 26th September, 2013 to different corporate giants. BMS, BCom & BAF students visited industries like, TATA AGCL & MET over the span of 3 days whereas BMM students visited Navhind Times & Kala Academy.
It was not all work and no play for the students of Bunts Sangha. During the three day period the students also visited Calangute beach. They also visited the famous Aguada Fort and St. Francis Church, Bom Jesus of Basilica. The River cruise on the first day was a fun affair where the students and the faculty were treated with the popular local dance forms and songs. On the 2nd day of the visit, in the evening a DJ party was planned for the students to enjoy and groove to the music.
The visit to Goa was an enriching experience for the students of Bunts Sangha as they were introduced to the manufacturing processes of Tata AGCL, Navhind Times, Kala Academy & MET the biggest names in the respective industries.
